Golden Flower Oolong
Oolong? More like "Ooooo-long"! This tea looks like it means business with its burnished jade color and tightly coiled leaves. When it meets water, however, it shows its true colors: a light golden liquid and a delicately floral scent (reminiscent of osmanthus and honeysuckle). This one can be steeped twice (using half the water on the second steep) to get the next level of flavor.
Steeping Instructions:
Steep 1 teaspoon in 8 oz of hot water (just shy of a full boil) for 3 minutes. Take care to not over-steep or use too hot of water as it can turn any tea bitter.
