The hot chocolate your mama warned you about 🖤😋 The decadence of our luxury base hot chocolate, but using the black cocoa powder famous in Oreo cookies and other such treats.
Why hot chocolate? And why luxury? Well, we’ve all grown up on the packet of cruddy Swiss Miss and related brands and are quietly disappointed every time we take a sip. Thin, weak, fake chocolate, insane sugar, and overall just, well, not that good. Even the mini marshmallows have food dyes in them.
But what if hot chocolate got the ✨Cornerstone✨ touch?
What if your holiday sweet treat was made by someone who CARES?
Imagine a hot chocolate that is made with majority organic ingredients, painstakingly tested, and still conveniently dump-and-stir. Whole milk powder, not the fat free “trash” milk powder. Heavy cream powder for that ultra-rich mouthfeel. Cocoa powder chosen with care for the heavy metal rating (did you know chocolate is one of the worst culprits for heavy metals like cadmium, lead, and others?). Even the sugar is fair trade certified!
Much like with our tea, once you have this hot chocolate, you won’t be going back!
This mix makes approximately 4 eight-ounce servings. If you like yours a bit thinner, you can always adjust to your tastes.
Use within 2 months for optimum freshness. While it is shelf stable, it never hurts to store it in the fridge.
Note: some ingredients carry warnings on the label that they were processed in facilities that also handle soy, wheat, tree nuts, and other allergens. This mix contains dairy.
As always, do not consume if you are allergic to any of these ingredients.
Ingredients: Whole milk powder*, powdered sugar*, black cocoa powder, cocoa powder*, whipping cream powder*, grassfed beef gelatin (tasteless thickener), vanilla powder*, tapioca starch*, Baja Gold salt

TO MAKE: Add approximately a half-cup of packet contents to 8oz hot milk. Stir/whisk vigorously for 30 seconds. Let sit for 30 seconds to “bloom” the ingredients.
